• Registration is open now, Members can attend for FREE. Everyone gets a drink on arrival, and food throughout the night. Starting from 6pm until 10pm.  
• Partners also welcome to attend & Non-member tickets are $25.
• The awards will be presented and announced about 730pm.

Freezone Members Choice Awards 2024.

Members are encouraged to take part in nominating the players who you think deserve to receive an award for each category listed below. Winners will be announced at the Awards Party.

Key Dates - Social Sundays and Warrior Wednesday. 

• Social Sundays
  • Last date in 2024 will be Sunday December 15th 
  • First session in 2025 will be Sunday January 19th. 
  • No Sunday social play on Sunday 26th January - Australia Day. 
  • There is no Sunday Socials on the tournament weekend - Sunday 23rd Feb. 
• Warrior Wednesdays
  • Last night will be Wednesday December 11th. 
  • First session in 2025 will be Wednesday 15th January. 
  • Stay tuned, there is a takeover coming during Mardi Gras season, for beginners coaching. 

Sydney Mardi Gras Tournament 2025 - Registrations open now! 

To celebrate Sydney Mardi Gras in 2025, Perry Park Recreation Centre will be hosting a social volleyball tournament on February 22 and 23 in 2025. The event will be supported by the Freezone Volleyball Club. Teams are encouraged to come dressed in their best and most colourful outfits. Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed teams and more.

The event will run over 2 days:

• Day 1: Saturday February 22, 10 am to 6pm – Men's and women's competition round robin.

• Day 2: Sunday February 23 , 10am to 6pm – Mixed competition round robin.

Fees

The cost of the registration will be $280 per team. Places are limited and will be on a first in, first serve basis.

You can register your team by emailing Perry Park Recreation Centre via pprcadmin@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au. 

Please include the details of your team, including the team’s name, preferred division, and level of competition you compete at. We will do our best to provide even divisions, but this depends on the overall registrations of the competition. Any players under 18 will need approval from a parent or guardian to participate.
