Hi Freezoners !
I hope everyone had a terrific and glamorous Mardi Gras period, however you chose to celebrate it. The Mardi Gras tournament at Perry Park was supported by Freezone and organised by City of Sydney. This tournament went off without a hitch and 32 teams across the 2 days played some fun volleyball, that was very serious at times. Congratulations to all the winning teams in the final matches. As a volunteer club, we are always on the hunt for new helpers and committee members. Everything that happens on Sundays, Wednesday and in between is done by a few volunteers. We currently have 4 committee vacancies at the moment, and we are looking for people with skills in marketing, social media, websites and volleyball coaching. If you are interested, reply to this email, or come speak to Andrew or JM at one of the Sunday sessions.
Everyone will receive a more detailed email next week, regarding the Volleyball NSW membership rollover period that starts on 26 March. Stay tuned, it will be the same process as last year, and the email we send out will step you through the essential details you need to know.

Below, you will see details for Melbourne Spikers June Winter Whack tournament. Everyone in Sydney has a short period now for 2 weeks where we can register a team early. It will be a sell out tournament by the end of April! If you want to know how the weekend works, or just hear about the fun it can be for your team to participate, ask any of the committee and we can tell you more.
Melbourne Spikers - 2024 Winter Whack Tournament
Dear Interstate Teams,
Our 2024 Winter Whack Tournament is all set for Saturday 8th June 2024. This is on King's Birthday Weekend so the perfect time for a long weekend vacation.
We are pleased to provide interstate clubs with early access to tickets from now through to 12pm Monday 1st April 2024. After this date, tickets will be released to the general public. Tickets always sell out very quickly so if attending, be sure to get yours ASAP.
